Motorcycle carbs on rotaries?
Anyone know anything about equipping rotary engines with Bike carbs? I see that there are a buttload of 4AG's in Japan with motorcycle carbs on them (to avoid washout during extreme G's) but I can't much information on a conversion of this type.
More specifically: Would I use one carb or two? What am I looking for in a bike carb? What would be a good jet size? Is there a good/best way to adapt the manifold? Thanks for any help on the subject! |

This is not a bike forum. 2) this is not a Toyota forum (4ag) 3) People has used webbers/mukinis/ and other 1 barrel style carbs.. is this what you mean? |

I'm talking about carbs that come on Jap bikes that are really really good against richness changes at G. Also, would one 2-throttle carb provide sufficient flow for a thirsty rotary? Thanks! |
mike, i dont think there's many people at your level.

Is that an insult or a compliment?

to give you some sort of idea on carburetor size, for a 13b you would use a 600 cfm holley. so if you could see what type of bike carbs are close to the equivalent of that amount of air flow then you should be good.
