Bought one of those EBay SS Autochrome 3" turbo back exhuasts ..

Not going to use the DP till I do my swap but I will be putting the exhuast and 3" cat pipe on . Hope it soudns good and the quality is what I have heard . I'll post pics when I get it .

This is for my 88 RX7 Non-Turbo ...

The DP is made by SS Autochrome .. This setup on a T2 on TeamFC3S made 234RWHP with a FCD the exhuast/DP combo was the only mod on the car .

The DP Size is 3"

I am un-aware if they sell the DP seperate fomr the Exhuast . The total cost was only 369.99 shipped ofr the DP , Cat pipe , Complete catback with silencer .

It was a very good deal and other who have this exhuast say it is very good .

what size are the tips? 4in?

i want to try the silencer out on my car to see if it quiets it down.

 

I have this exhaust. Its a little loud without a cat. And so you know it doesn't come with the section to replace the cat. I thought it was the full turbo-back exhaust. It technically is, but they get you with the "street-legal" added in there. I had to order flanges from racing beat and pick up a piece of 3" SS tubing and have someone make my midpipe. But if I were you I'd just get the flanges and order a Borla XR-1 and a small amount of pipe and use that as a midpipe. I will doing this myself. Its not REALLY loud and I haven't gotten pulled over but its pretty loud for a subdivision.

 

It specifcally said in the auction it came with the cat pipe ..

If it doesnt no worries , i'll probally do the same with a inline muffler as a mid-pipe

 

hey chris urs did not come with that section yet they changed the kit a little and now it comes with a cat section and like dan says it does specifically emphasize that it is included.. i was in the market for the ebay exhausts when chris was buying that exhaust.... they were selling like fuckin hotcakes.. i got outbidevery fucking time!

 

You're probably right because mine was alot cheaper. But it is a little loud with no cat, but you'll get used to it.
