Looking at doing an E6K when I finially get a T2 swap together .

Anyone around here have any knowledge with tunning them other than Scott ?

May do a Microtech LT8/LTX8 as well .

Whatever I can get cheaper is probally what i'll end up with .

I have neither but I am going with a microtech LT8 real soon here. Haltechs are just as nice and pretty commonly used. I do believe the E6Ks are DOS based while the E11s are windows based, just FYI. Scott will get you an LT8 installed and running good for $1500. I do know he swapped out 2 E6Ks for LT8s in FDs running a T78 and T66 a like last year, so take that however you want.

I'm probally going to go Microtech and use the stock coil setup . Microtechs with flying lead harness' for the 13BT are around 850 and tunning should be 750 $'s ...

I would have Carlos Gonzalez tune my car if anyone . Not that I dont trust Scott , I would just rather have a known and respected tuner/racer do it .

Oh and thanks mr Searchmaster . I know plenty well about the aftermarket ECU forums and such but was looking for someone with local experince to maybe show me the system or telll me how they liked it and the ability of them to tune it themselves .

You can buy the LT8 from MT for $750 USD. Not sure about with a flying lead harness, is this for a TII? Where do you see a flying lead harness? If there is one I might do my install myself for sure. $750 to tune? Thats quite a bit. Most I ever heard was like $500 from very well known tuners, but I dunno. Let me know what you decide man.

well i would tune it for you if i was home because i am using the lt8 with my t70 setup on a large streetport but as boosted a4g said have carlos tune it if he will. definately not scott from mazsport. he dosen't know his ass from a whole in the ground. another one to stay away from is rolo from central florida turbos. he claims he can tune them so well but i know of many motors he has popped because of what he does with the timing.

hey boosteda4g how do you know carlos???

have i met you before up at his shop???
