If this street porting a engine is such a perfect thing to do, why does the owner Scott, of Mazsport drive a non ported T2 and he also did not build his engine its Mazda remanufactured one.

lol scott at mazsport. i hate to break it to you but scott at mazsport is a joke. i used to deal with him heavily when i was fresh into the rotary world. not only does he not know enough to build good motors but i wouldn't even trust him to install n e thing on my car. why do i say this you might ask??? because after setting up a hybrid turbo with full exhaust and some other minor things, i got my car back from his shop with major detonation problems that he couldn't figure out after 4 days of trying. he then prescribed an msd to fix the problem. now anyone that knows n e thing would be asking major questions at this point. detonation so lets add stronger hotter spark????? hmm scott not sure where you came up with that idea. so after getting so frustrated i took the car away and was introduced to someone who has forgotten more about rotaries then any of us will ever know. carlos gonzalez, the owner of g and s racing. he simply adjusted my timing a couple of degrees and boom i was a happy rotary owner again. so if i was all of you i wouldn't trust scott glassburn from mazsport as far as i could throwm him.

 

alot of people dont like Scotts work,I personally wouldnt have him build or mess with anything internally..

How did you like my friends ported first gen that ran 12s,he had like 3k .. with brand new internals,all stock Mazda drive train,

Not much to say about any FAF cars that are suppose to be fast..

On a ratio of ANY rotary powered shit out there,the PORTED ones are the fastest.. can any STOCK ported engine run 4-5s in the 1/8th or 7s in the 1/4

Levi,just do all of us a favor,since your the stock port expert,show us numbers (dyno) and 1/4 times of any stock ported engines you think are fast.. im mainly talking about n/a so you can see the power of n/a stock port.. to n/a ported..

after we rebuilt/ported my brother's n/a s5 motor i felt alot more power compared to a stock port.. porting is better hands down...my car "stock port" was fast but i couldnt get too much more power out of it because there were not many more mods i could do ((( see sig for proof in slllllllllow 1/4 mile time))).i should have dissasembled and ported and rebuilt while i was there.... but now im a turbo man so up up UP THE BOOST and i get more power... well as soon as i get my lazy ass to work on the car i can up the boost.
simply put...... "PORTING RULEZ" lol plus it sounds awesome!

 

Porting a rotary is like doing a heads/cam package on a ls1.Simply put more air and fuel will produce more power.Mazsport built my friends streetported fc and raped his ass on the price.Me and Julio(boriquarotary) reffered him to pito several times but he declined.Like i said if stock ports were the shit to make power why is the fastest all motor rotary ported?+1 on your an ignoramASS

Who does the best rotary engine porting in Tampa? Mazsport charge like 450 but thats when the engine is being rebuild?
