Sat night my boy took his street ported 1986 13B with micro tech FI powered dune buggy to lakeland and ate 2 bridge ported engines built by Pito Racing. One was the Suzuki Samuri which weighed the same as the dune buggy about 1400 pounds and the other was a 1st gen. The buggy was running street tires on 20's the bridge ports were running slicks ! ! ! I want to hear how Levi's stock ported engines beat bridge ports. HA, Ha, ha that will never happen ! ! ! My boy was running 8.2's and will be dropping quickly when he gets his slicks and . . .

Well this should be a fair match since he thinks porting an engine does nothing,

But heres the excuses I predict
1) your engine is ported
2) I have 300k on a stock engine (sorry your to dumb to get real mods)

Ported does make more power, but only Wide open and some mid range.

I WILL SAY THIS ONE MORE TIME TONI, A SP CAR WITH THE SAME WEIGHT WILL NOT BEAT A STOCK PORT CAR, BECAUSE IT HAS NO LOW END, I HAVE RACED 8 OR MORE SP CARS AND BEAT ALL OF THEM.





Do you know why they call it Street port? because any bigger and you have to rev it to 2500 to make enough power to move it.

Luis also has a Orange single seat one that weights about 800lbs.. so you guys enjoy. it will also have a stock 6 port 13B. but no more carbs, we will be running Standalone and FI.

Turbos are quick, and they sound better that NAs with exaust mods, my car is slow but at high RPMS is quick, I don't complain I like my car, just need more money to tune it.

 

When people port engines to race,who drives it under 3k?
I myself was shifting my stock port at 8-9k

how can you give an exact 1/4 time based on,theres issues here called gearing..

What would a 7.6 1/8th car run in the 1/4?
