if you think the motor is stock, and has no intake or exhast manifolds.... if the engine has nto ben cracked open the easiest way to find ut if its a N/A or Turboed is ook into the exhst ports...
Do you see baffels? If so its N/A if not.. then you have a good chance its a Turboed, its you paid that much for a 6 port . im sorry..
Why didnt you take a pic of the car at the yard?Run a basic car fax on the VIN,it wil tell you what it is..

turn the crank over a few times listen for compression"wet pussy farts" out of both front and rear exhaust ports.... toss a lil ATF in the spark plug holes while your turning the crank and see if you can get some quiefs outta it

It cranks over, but my bet is that it isnt a T2!!! I checked out the injectors (got the info from rotaryresurrection.com) and the red ones came on the 86+ N/A. "Left without a paddle, floatin shit's creek!"
Anyways, earlier tonite i started to strip the engine down to the block to see if I could salvage anything. Most of the crap on the engine was all original crap, and most of the bolts had never been turned. This one might not be as bad as i thought.
SOMEONE HELP ME!!! Do I rebuild with turbo internals, or do I ease the stress with a bit of self gratification (if i spelled it rite) and find T2 parts?? I NEED ANSWERS GUYS!!!
suggs salvage has done it again, another fucked customer

You can boost any N/A rotary ! ! !
Just got to tune, I hear if you keep it at 12 psi or under you should be reliable. Their is a 12a with stock rotors that pushes like 680 HP at about 28 psi ! ! !

high compression rotors + turbo = dead rotary. its not worth the trouble it can be done. but safe bet is 8 psi. its a lot easier and cheaper to swap in a turbo motor than to turbo a n/a. http://www.aaroncake.net/RX-7/naturbo.htm
