All I did was wash the mildew off.I didnt even vacume the insides,Untill a month ago,when we got it running,Theres minor problems with it still but I got a running 10th AE for $1200.

for you that dont know the history of the car,
I saved this car from getting made into forks...
I was walking through a local junk yard lookig for parts,for friends and forum members,so I can sell online.nce I walked all the way to the back of this place (which I wasnt gonna do)this car was sitting on a slab of concrete,I saw the white tail lights and the wing,BUT once I saw the white wheels,my heart started pounding,Then I saw the emblem on the fender and the hood scoop,I really almost pissed my pants,this car was in whole and everything was there minus the window switches.
It even had the original bronzed tinted glass.I asked the owner of the place abotu the car,he didnt know it was there or had a title.. so I stole some of the old paper work out of the glove box,and went straight to the DMV to get info/owner checked out,the owner lived in 12 Oaks,which is across the street from where im at now,he moved to Plant City. and was the second owner.. I contacted him and asked why it was there,he payed for outsided storage for years and didnt want to pay any more since he was moving and didnt want to take the car so he gave it up for free,
He knew it was rare/collectors item,but had no idea how many was made.. he said ti ran before he parked it,so it didnt take to much to get it running..I met up with him to get papers signed etc etc,and told him my plans..and told him I wil take care of her.. Im just starting to get things straight.she has 148k on it and all stock.
Im happy with my junk yard car..

It's built into teh VIN as which # of the 1500 it is . I dont belive there is a dash plaque like the Type-R

Well they are not numbered (ex) 1/1500 thats what they did wrong,I have the vin spread info somewhere on my personal computer like if it fals between xxxxxxx-yyyyyyy its a 10AE the title dont say it,so you still wont know by that.
Also my theory to determin on how new/or older your 10AE is in the VIN,they wouldnt make number VIN 9999999 before 6666666 would they?Other say not go by this,but dealing with cars many year I have not 1 time seen a number like 999999 be newer* then 66666,
Also you can kinda get a clue by production dates,I will check mine and post it,So you all can get an Idea,We also picked up a 10AE for JOE2DMAX,that he is building now,So thats 4 of that I know of around the bay area,But I have ONLY seen 1 more on the road besides mine,
They come with bronze tinted glass,NO other FC3S comes with,Monocromatic white,White wheels,white tail lights,Other FCs can be painted to imitate this but,they dont have 10 AE badges he fender,and I dont think anyone wants to spend $120. a badge to try to make a fake 10 AE,
I also have one original key,which are rare,and can no longer be bought,I will post pics soon..
I got lucky,I actually got real lucky on all my 7s I have owned,
79 RX7 $50. and it ran sold it for $200.
84 RX7 $175. cost me $125. in tune up parts and got it running,/had a total of $900. and got it to run low 15s
88 GXL parts car/free
88 10 AE $1200.
