Looking to do a turbo 2 swap into my friends rex? where shops do it in the area and how much would the price be running? an do yall have websites?

 

IF YOU ARE SOMEWHAT MECHANICALly inclined u may be able to do it yourself but there are people that can do it for you.. but u may be looking into 5k+ for that to happen

 

Well we've done a stock 13b swap before cause he blow the motor and it also caught on fire but how much more work would be involved in doing the 13b t swap? what would be a good price 4 motor and tranny?......this is off topic but what about the 20b how much more work would that be and price also?

 

i dont think u should go with a 20b, its just to much trouble... sure if you got the money go ahead but goodluck tuning the fuck out of it

just get a t2 and just do it from there. remember them t2s are finicky as fuck.

If your in Tampa,I can hook you up with a guy who gets J spec engines,and wil let you choose out of the bunch he gets,I think he may order a couple times a monh so you just have to catch him when he orders,cause a full container will cost as much as an empty one for shipping,

20B is the shit,but tuning it and getting parts are still a bitch..

Theres a fuel injection system a neihbor of mine is workin on with a custom chip board where you use as,to replace the ecu.. and you use a old lap top to reprogram it,Its only a $300.-$500. for the parts to make this,and alot of his Toyota friends are doing it and getting nice HP gains,We are thinking of tring it on my TII but I dont want to spend the cash on it or get invlved in it just yet..

I talked to my boy and he wants to the t2. How much should he be looking to spend on the the engine? imma give my boy the info yall gave me. Can that guy also get s15 engines? Just thought i asked?

 

T2 motor is gonna run about 900 + shipping . Please be sure to get teh generation that goes with your car ala if you have an S4 car get an S4 T2 engine . Makes the whole ordeal 95 % easier.

That motor set may or may not come with tranny So thats 200 $'s . ECU depending on year should be anywhere from 75-250 $'s . Harness will probally run about 100 bucks as well . You will also needs Boost Sensor from the correct year T2 , Turbo AFM . Walbro Fuel pump or FD .

I would also put in a clutch at teh time you put the motor in and check the turbo for shaft play may be a good time to rebuild that as well . No use sticking with a stock DP the RB 2.5" is only 90 $'s and the stock exhuast is only a restriction the CorkSport is only 289.99 . I would also clena the injectors and possibly put 720's in the secondaries as the stock 550's give out around 11-12psi .

With the said mods you should be good for 230+ RWHP Then your going to need to start looking at a FMIC as the top mount is going to be a real heat soaker not that it already isnt stock .
