Default rotary question

anyone ever herd of an rx7 2nd ..something. it is a front wheel drive factory rotary motor. im puzzled. ne one have pics of this?

u sure it had the name RX7? only thing i can think of is rx7 2nd gen when u say 2nd after rx7 maybe its a cosmo car or something? who knows?

no. i kno wat rx7' gens are its not a second gen. my neighbor was talking about it the other day. in fact its his friends car who converted it to rwd. its liek umm well ita a 95 i kno that its european . n im pretty sure theres a 2 some were in the name

Need a lot more information than that. At least something solid to work with. From what I'm reading, sounds like you're saying it's a RX-7, something with a 2 in it, was FWD converted to RWD, and it's a '95.

Doesn't fit anything I know of. Just ask him again what it is, and then post again (:

the Type 13A was specifically designed and develped just for FWD cars. It was Called the R130 Luce Rotary Coupe. This car was only produced for two years. Obviously we never received this car here in america.

I'm pretty sure this is the only fwd tranny that will work with a rotary that Mazda has produced/developed.

this is from a site that i had to translate the german
"R 130 Coupe (Luce) 1969 of MAZDA introduced. The engine 13A hadan output of 126 SAE HP with 6000 Upm, max. Torque 171Nm/3500. The chamber volume amounted to 2 x 654 ccm. The car was based on the prototype RX-87, the 1968 on the 15. Tokyo Motorshow presented become-becoming that engine 13A had a larger eccentricity than the 10A and is practically laid out for Langhubig thereby. With the 12A and 13B it concerns widened 10A-Wankelmotoren."
