Does Rain-X count

I don't see any indication which model it is. It has a sunroof, rear disc brakes, and the 12A. Has AC but assume it's leaked, converted to 134a according to the sticker.

Beyond that, not sure. The paint is pretty good, looks like it sat outside for a bit, driver's side has paint damage, dunno if it'll buff out, or need repainted. Not a priority, of course.

My plans so far include fixing the things I can fix, and if it's running good still, possibly have it painted. It'd be nice to get it in good shape and keep it garaged for weekend drives or something in the future. But I believe cars should be driven, you never know when your car could run off the road headed to a car show, and run head on into a tree (saw that happen to a '57 Chevy).

S model=
NO sun roof,NO pwr mirrors,NO LSD 12A engine

GS=Has sun roof and pwr mirrors,no lsd 12A engine

GSL=has sun roof,pwr mirrors,LSD with disc brakes but 4x110 pattern,rear wiper,pwr windows, 12A engine

Optional, leather seats (top of the line for GSL) *I think optinal pwr steering

GSL SE 13B 6 port FI, LSD with 4x114.3 lug patterned geared at 4.07 (all others at 3.90) leather seats, pwr mirrors, rear wiper, front mount oil cooler, blah bla you get the idea...

You have a GSL from what I hear and read..

If you need some first gen parts, letmeknow,I still have some goodies tucked away,I got a clutch set also, with about 1000 miles on it*if that,I got someone with an extra header..

power mirrors? hmm...I gotta find the control switch.

I think I found the problem with the oil gauge. There's a wire that hangs down almost to the ground, by the driver's side front tire, looks like it's to a sensor on the engine underneath, it's just the right length. I'll have to follow the wire back and see where it goes. Been watching the temp as much as I can, know not to overheat it.

Know if there's any way to identify if this engine is not the original, other than looking dirty? It could have been replaced 10 yrs ago...wouldn't be noticable I wouldn't think.

I'm guessing GSL then too. Fortunately no PS, although the leather isn't in great shape on the driver's side.

Power mirriors on the right side of the steering wheel.

Yea, sounds like a GSL, thats good atleast you have LSD rear end. It should say on the back of the car either GSL or GSL-SE, unless it is a GS that somone put the LSD rear on?

it's missing a few emblems, one in front, one on driver's side is broken, and one in rear is missing. If it's on the emblem in the rear, that's why ): Only emblem left good is the passenger side.

Also no wiper in rear, possibly a S or GS hatch replacement. S'ok, one less thing to break. And I Rain-X'd the front and rear windows, should be fine. At least it isn't a busted off wiper.

Pictures to follow (:
