FD's are the closest thing to a race car that mazda has produced... the GTUs is pretty damn close too. the FD is one of the purest sports cars IMO...everthing about it exudes power, speed, style and performance.
the FB is also very performance oriented. a great driver's car. the lack of power isnt really that important when you have something this nimble.
the FC was sauced up too much w/ too many frills and too much weight and unnecessary shit... look at the freakin GXL's... what the hell is up w/ a 3500 lb sports car? ill take my 2600 lb GTUs, thanks.
i had to vote for the FD cuz of the engineering, styling, performance and sheer unreliability that goes hand in hand w/ a REAL race car

Not sure who told you that a GXL weighed 3500#, but they don't. No RX7 ever produced weighed that much. And FBs do not handle as well as FCs, at least not when comparing similarly modded or stock cars. My TII only weighs around 2800 or so. And unless you have done weight reduction, your GTUs weighs around 2800 as well, being a S5. Mazda did get some shit right when they designed the FD, and got it to weigh less than the S5 TIIs. But the quality of the interior is pretty poor from what I've seen.
