89 RX7 motor in miata?
Anyone knows if an 1989 RX7 turbo motor will fit into a 1993 miata. Is this posible? has it been heard of before?
My friend got a really good deal on that motor and he's trying to find mounts and wire harness to get this motor in his Miata.
can anyone help me out?

You need to weld in a sub frame to hold everything in place and then use a stand alone to run the motor. The RX ECU and harness will run the motor fine but none of your gauges will work and I'm not sure what else may be effected(lights, horn, etc.). Its doable but ts not cheap. A Flyin' Miata kit would be a better option if your friend is in dire need for more power. The B6 can take quite a beating and can make more power then most people should be able to have in a 2000lb car.
