I have heard 5.9 0 to 60 ET in the range of 14.9 to 14.5 @ 95 mph.
I have already pulled the cover off the engine and noticed all the intakes are all plastic and I would swear they made the extra 80 hp from the intake design which has 3 stages of air intakes, that open @ certain rpms and allows for TQ down low and 9000 rpms.
I personally think with weight reductions, better tires, and cone setup, with a pressurized ram air kit, you would be right into 13s...

Ya, I have them listed at 14.5 @ 95mph. Pretty good for an NA 4 seater IMO. But not where they said it would be. I really want to see how they respond to basic intake/exhaust mods. Levi, did you get a chance to take a look at the exhaust manifold? Just wondering how efficient it looks, or if its just designed to quiet the car down. Oh and anyone know how many cats it has on it?
the guys that have thrown fuel computers on them are dynoing right where they should, ~200-210 instead of this 180whp crap that the ones straight off the factory floor are doing. The USDM ECU makes it run pig rich.

Any idea why that is? Rotaries have always had problems with emissions and that would only add to the problem.
And are those dyno #s with any mods besides tuning? Intake/exhaust even? If they can get 210 I would think 13s would be possible.

The manifold is almost a duplicate in design to the old n/a 13B, what I mean is no separation from rotor to rotor. The manifold is a straight dump into a collector.
I have seen 80 hp gains from a custom made header. All was done was adding 3 " of straight piping from the port. " No collection till farther down".
So with some good mods, and being they are rich stock, you should have no problem making 300 HP @ the crank.

80 hp from a header is ridiculous on a OEM normally aspirated motor. Please read a fluids book or something before you post that CRAP again.... this isn't the first time I've read it, or had to reply to it.

Racing Beat Claims 60 hp ..I have seen the custom ones..go blow yourself, you know almost nothing about rotary engines, much less driven them or owned one.
