hey guys im ineterested in getin a 1.8 dohc miata.
i've been trying to get some information on it the past couple days to see the availability of parts for the engine and etc.
do you know any sites that sells engine parts?
and what would be the best year to get for the maiata? from what i've been readin i can get most of the parts for a 94-99.
if you own one and would like to share some info, please do.

i know there's a turbo model, or that i could turbo it, but i cant afford a turbo right now. so im really just gonna build it up to be high hp n/a then maybe later on get lower compression and turbo it but its not realy likely that ill get turbo.

do NOT try to push a lot of HP NA....that's going to be far more expensive than a cheap turbo kit.

A greddy kit for a B6 is under 1800 bucks.

1800??? damn id rather do that than, for my talon its almost $4000 so i thought it would've been just as much.

hey i cant find the turbo kit for the 1.8l.

they only got the 1.6l for the 90-93 for $1600, where would the 1.8l turbo kit be?

I don't think Greddy even makes a kit for the BP...


you can get the turbo manifold from www.corksport.com for under 200 bucks. From there, VJ-20's aren't expensive. Biggest cost is your fuel and timing control.
