Im redoing the exhast on my FB soon..so im taking the DTM muffler off and going with just a can ...

What brand do you guys run?

Im looking for a 3in inlet... and I guess nothing bigger for an outlet.. of course it needs to be freeflow..

 

apexi- N1. or GT-Spec.

 

i dont belive Apexi makes exhausts for the FB. what kinda sound do you want out of your exhaust? i know NA rotarys are load a FOOK!!! if you want loud go with a N1 muffler or no muffler but Racing beat makes nice mufflers and flowmaster does too.

 

I think Tony is going to do somethign custom . His exhaust he has now is just a cusotm straight pipe with a silencer muffler .

 

I dont care what the sound is ..cause its ported and no matter you will hear the overlap in the exhast..

I wouldnt run RB exhast cause its to much money for the stock look..I can run a universal Apexi N1 with some custom made exhast..

I have ideas on how I need to run my exhast.. 3in pipes with dual primaries then Y it off before tghe rear end to a single pipe to the muffler..

Right now it has a RB road race header... Y off after 15 inches. then to a presilencer then back to 2.5 in pipes to the DTM muffler..

I got tired of the muffler cause it burnt my dam bumper..from shooting 2 foot flames..

So im going to redo the exhast I might just stop before the rear end with a muffler..so it has just a straight exhast no bends...for that free flow..


BTW you DONT run Flowmasters on rotaries..it sounds like SHIT... like 100 marbels in a tin can ..

Most people like running the Borla XR1 (?) Free flow exhast.. or get somthing that has steel wool material inside instead of fiberglass.

 

well im saying to go with an apexi muff. b/c thatz what i hear makes the best power against the RB. its a plus on sound too... my car has a junk APC muff on it. hey i got it for free what can i say ..."im a broke son of a bitch"!
well my car is loud as fuck like u said too. all im saying is make ur exhaust pipes as straight as possible too... the less bends the better...

I wouldnt buy any premade exhast for an FB .. you can get alot better performance from custom jobs..
