Theres still good info you just got to dig past the ATF trick and "how can I mount mirrors on my fenders" post.. theres still good info ..just pending on what your looking for..

i remember when Mazdaspeed7 was working on converting his car to the Ford Hotwire MAF... there was good tech around and less chitchat... i dunno, i just liked all the tech talk. i think there are just too many people wasting bandwidth.

Most of the guy you mentioned hang out in the second gen forums.. some jump to the first gen once in a while..
The first gen forum does have alot of bullshit..theres no mod there so its used as a Gen D area also..
Theres still good info there you just got to dig for it ..and use the search section ..the same shit gets ask 100 times..

thats oen thing i did notice... same freakin topics that i had to answer when i was there a few years ago.. Luckily some people still usse the search button...
every once in a while someone will dig up "does a single exhaust look stupid on an FC" and "to premix or not"... i remember replying to those when they were first posted... like 2years ago or something...
