Jesse's 2001 BMW M3 exhaust/headers/SSk install

Default powerflex rtabs

During coilover install wanted to install powerflex rtabs took off that section and could not get the oem rtab off. One might think its the easy thing to take off but F no. I said fuck it. Might need your help on this one..

Lol yeah its not easy sometimes, we have a 45 ton press we use which makes life a bit easier

those are the ebay headers? hows the quality and performance of them?

Yes they were ebay, quality was actually much better than I orginally expected, and they did not have any kinks or extra metal inside the piping which would have restricted or effected exhaust flow.

i was just looking at them last night on ebay and wondering how they would do

Default ebay headers

Lutz Per in Northern Tampa did a great job on install. Mike and Andrew told me that one bend (are section 1)is couple of mm off. but he manage to fit it. So far I enjoy it, no leaks from the header area or cracks but who knows. You get what you pay for right. but Had to get them because they so look like super sprint ones..




It works it deleted the cats and thats all I needed. Havent tested the headers in any runs on a track but short DD they hold pretty good. if you do buy one recommend using oem gaskets the ones that came with where bad quality oh and go with powered coated just in case. Good luck happy mod n
