Dover Rod Run, Music, Pinewood Derby, and bike show Oct 4

Dover Rod Run, Car meet, Bluegrass Concert and Pinewood Derby.This event is scheduled only three times during the year (January, April, October 4 2014)
Free Registration, Free food, Free drinks Sponsored by First Baptist Church Dover

I went to this. It was great. There were at least 265 cars. They served
three types of grilled sausages, hot dogs and hamburgers. I ate four free
hamburgers and drank a couple bottles of bottled water. The Blue Grass music was
very relaxing. To help out with their youth ministry I bought a bowl of fresh
strawberries.............twice! Burp!

Dover Rod Run
The Dover Rod Run is a car show that is scheduled three times during the year (January, April, and October). While our church hosts, staffs and organizes this event, most of those attending are from the community. This gives us an opportunity to provide an event that enables our community to be on our church campus, interact with our church family and learn about our church ministries in a relaxed and safe environment.

Each one who attends is encouraged to register their attendance and indicate their interest in receiving more information about our church.

Volunteers involved in this event set up tents, grill food, serve in the food line, register vehicle participants, provide registration cards for those attending and work the clean up detail. The individuals organizing this event welcome those volunteering to help. Your voluntary involvement can be ongoing or periodic.

The Dover Rod Run is an antique car show that is scheduled two times during the year. This event combines both outreach and fellowship opportunities for those attending. While our church hosts, staffs and organizes this event, most of those attending are from the community. This event includes: hundreds of cars, Jeeps, and motorcycles; Bluegrass and contemporary / worship music; and Pinewood Derby races in the CLC.
Menu: totally free hotdogs, hamburgers, sausage, chips, soft drinks and water.
