First Friday Car Meet

Advance notice......
First Friday each month car meet. Working on permissions...
So far, got a DJ, maybe live music. 50/50 raffle......

I will post the rest of the details tonight.
Maybe a test drive of the meet on 6 July 2012.

First Friday Monthly Car Meet/Show/Street Party Manatee County/"Slicks Garage"

Ok fans of Cable TV.........
The First Friday meet is in Palmetto Florida, just South of the river as you enter Manatee County. July 6th will be the first meet. This is going to be a street party, a meet and a car show!

The location will be the legendary honest-to-gosh 12,000 square foot "Slick's Garage"
"as seen on TV" at the corner of 5th Avenue and Old Main Street. No joke. Two parking lots for cars and streets will be blocked off. 923 5th St West Palmetto Florida 941-776-7298 You gotta see this place. They really build the cars that are on TV. Check on Youtube if
you want to see the shop.

Live on stage.....music will be Deacon Street Band and you can hit the
internet to see their style of music.

Starts at 5PM. Awards around 830PM. $5 to show a car. No spectator fee.
Food from local food vendors. 50/50 raffle and Free Tattoo giveaway.......you read that right, folks...free tattoo giveaway.....

I was down there Monday July 2nd. They work on lots of cars, so expect to see some Chevy's in the car show.-Bob
