I have no idea why people who hate the car scene are on Tampa Racing. Maybe some
of them think TR is their personal playground to give insults and member bashing.
Examples are available on request.

If you read the posts in Gen Car Chat and Pit Road, there are the very same few people who
constantly criticise others and never make positive contributions to threads. If you look in
my profile, at my posting history in GCC and PR, you can see the same people repeatedly
complaining about my car. Most of the time they have no idea what they are actually looking at.
I have no need to educate them. I don't object to the way they show themselves to be.
Some of those people don't even live in Florida.

They drive bone-stockers maybe for economic reasons and don't understand that
at car shows, entrants get points for modifications and no points for just keeping
it running. An example would be TR's "Ride of The Month". There are no bone-stockers there.

Generally those mentioned people would like to do the same things and get positive attention from
others for doing so, but it's always easy to give put-downs and criticise than it is to come up with
money to make their car nicer or even to customize it to their needs. Their getting noticed
comes from people like themselves. When a person cannot get positive attention they will go
for negative attention. Examples available on request.

At one time members could freely talk in General Car Chat
about the enjoyment of the car scene, but with a particular moderator, he has become
convinced that any post with the word "meet" in it, or a post talking about the joy of
our sport/hobby is supposed to be buried in TR's "LIST" of local events.....probably due
to the complaining few that he tries to please.

My 2 cents answering your question. If I have said anything untrue, feel free to ask me,
but pit road would be a better place than in the Seffner meet thread. I would like to respect and
maintain this thread for the folks who are having a great time at a very successful meet.-Bob

If anyone knows how to enlarge that picture, (post 541) I would like to see it better.
I have thought about doing the same to my car. Like tstyles, I think it makes the cars
engine look cleaner. It would make a great how-to article and encourage others.-Bob
