Ok this is the deal!! a few guys from the meet including my self had a discussion about switching the meet up spot from the taco bell to the location at the autozone parking lot on hwy 60 brandon., at the corner at parsons & 60 across from the burger king you cant miss it!! this new spot change was made by most of the guys that do show up to the meet including my self this way we will have better visibility to the street for future people that wants to stop by and check it out. Also the meet day was also change to thursday night instead of saturday this changes are still in process of discussion so for everyone else out there lets hear you vote about the day!!! to leave it the way it is on saturday or thursday night works better out for everyone...ps time is still the same 7:30 till 10:15..nos man

I think you may be onto something. Drive-by traffic and visibility will build a meet.

I've seen some meets where they park close to the street with their flashers or
strobes on, so the drive-by traffic will notice them. Also, a closed hood is just
another parked car. Open hoods are a meet! It doesn't matter if the
engine is a "show" engine or not. Open hoods are noticed.

Not promoting anarchy here........If "most of the guys that do show up" decide
in-mass to meet at a certain location, that is a form of voting..........by their
presence.

If all of you decide to meet on a certain day, that is a form of voting, too.
It may be worth pointing out that people who do not show up are not voting
"for" something.

This does not infringe on the current meet, since the folks who want to meet there
can continue to do so......I hope no one takes any thing personally, and that people will
retain their friendships. I hope people in both locations will realize that survival of
a meet in the Seffner/Brandon area is more important than personalities or "having to be right".

My questions for you...will the A-zone Mgr let you use "his" parking lot?
Are there enough parking spaces compared to the present location?-Bob

 

I think Rico told me that he knows the manager there & parking is pretty good, it's a great spot & closer to my house, with that said I still like Saturday to meet but if it changes to Thursday's I might not be able to come out as often since I have other responsibilities during the week, I might have to change a few things but I still want to come for sure

 

It was sad that we were down to only the six of us that came out last saturday night . I believe the change to autozone and changing the day to a weekday will help bring some fellow enthusiasts to what i think could be a great meet

 

I hear yah... I am near waters and sheldon (Westchase/Town n Country)... anything near that?

Yeah we down for thursday night !!!.. I spoke with autozone peeps they cool with it., hopefully we can turn this into a car show down the road. autozone is cool with the door prices and discount once the meet grows into a car show.
