deffinately think we need some more participation. kinda sucks i see and hear so many modded go by and nobody ever shows up to this. the most cars ive ever seen at this was the night 4 rx7s and a bike showed up and that was all that showed.

If the original poster doesn't check posts for his own meet, is that
a clue as to what has happened to the meet? What do you think?
Sometime back I asked if someone would update the original post
as to details of where/when this meet actually was....to benefit people
who might want to attend.....and if people quit posting to a dead meet
thread, the thread will sink from the top page........
----------------------------
General principles of keeping a meet going.
Based on an observation of meets that come and go
and discussions at a lot of the meets which I go to..............
If a person expects people to come out to a recurring weekly meet,
the meet organizer/sponsor needs to keep the thread active.
One way to keep a thread active is by posting every week, so people
know that at least the organizer/an associate/sponsor supports the meet and
will be there. When an organizer doesn't show, people don't show.
A second way to keep a thread active is by posting up pictures of people
and/or cars every week as a way of showing that the meet is still active.
If a meet happens every other week, someone needs to post
during the meeting week so people know if the meet is on or off.
When people show up a couple times and it is on the non-meet night, their
perception is that the meeting is no longer being held.....and they won't be back
until they see another posting from someone running the meet.
Examples of what I'm talking about are available only in face to face conversation.
See you at the meets and keep checking the first couple pages of TR Local Events.-Bob

I agree with all of this. I think I will start a new thread. No reason to keep this one with the creator not posting anymore. I was trying to put in some effort with facebook event creating and all that. I'd be good with taking pics at the meet to post and get it going. Look for a new thread, Ill post after I create.
