Bradenton Street Heat Apirl 2 9p to 2am
fill out a tech card and you should be good to go, a helmet is a nice touch though.
wish i could make this but i'm still down, when you order a cam specifically designed for your engine you would think the company would send you a cam that fit in your engine...

Thanks man, will bring a helmet just in case
no problem usually they are pretty lax on tech for street heat.
i would ask that all people that have never been to a drag strip it would be very nice if you turn your a/c off while in the staging lanes or going down the track, when you have the a/c on you leak lots of water and it can lead to unsafe conditions on the track and also means down time and not getting as many runs in as the track crew has to stop and whip up the water on the starting line.

damn i wish i had another week or so then i'd be able to run at this event. the good 1/4 mile ones are way few and far between!!!! lol i still might be able to make it tho, we'll see i guess. lol
oh and as for the guy asking about rules, it's an NHRA track so they stick to the nhra rules guide lines, but like a couple others said, they're pretty lax for streat heat events tho, but yes they do make ya wear a helmate if your car runs faster than 13 sec (i think lol) maybe 14 sec?, and if you go faster than 11.5 sec, you have to have a roll bar, and if you have a nitrous bottle inside the car (pasenger compartment), you have to have the blow off valve vented to outside the car, or you're supposed to wear a fire jacket. they let me get by without the jacket a couple times tho. lol
