Event is inside Ocean Center, right off the water in Daytona Beach, FL

I have been going to this event for years and it is always a great event! It features a car show and sound quality competition indoors, and a sound pressure show outdoors.

See car audio manufacturers' demo vehicles, see new products, and talk to the company reps. Manufacturers will also be hosting seminars.

 

this is always a blast. last year was rediculous

 

should be there again in the Sony booth.

 

If it's Spring Break, where do you find a place to stay........or do
you have a chick stashed up there that you stay with?

Last time I was in Daytona during spring break,
the Highway Patrol had the road blocked off to the beaches
and would not let anyone drive East of A1A.-Bob

 

I don't know what is up with you Bob, but it seems like you have the worst luck with the police than anyone I know. I hardly ever see any on the road, so I don't have a clue how you get so much attention.

 

It was Spring Break.
I had spent the day at the speedway and Daytona USA.
Traffic was creeping if you were driving East.

SEVERAL HUNDRED people were having the "worst luck" of which you speak as far as driving
East to get to the beaches. Every road going East was blocked by police of some sort and
every car was being turned back from going to the beaches. They were directed either
North or South at that point. Traffic going North and South was creeping along.

I turned around and headed West to the Interstate then drove North to St Augustine.
EVERY motel in St Augustine had the No Vacancy sign out. I ate dinner in St Augustine
then drove back to Tampa.

I don't see that as attention, I see that as an overflow crowd in Daytona at the beach during Spring Break.-Bob

 

its Spring Break what do you expect. You need to book your room months in advance. There is going to be a ton of people there. That is why we always arrive a day ahead to avoid all the traffic and cops.

SBN and Spring Break in Daytona have been a shell of their former selves. SBN promotes that it is bigger than ever, which may be true, but the tuner bash and other events would make the trip worthwhile. Now you can walk the whole show in 1 hour. I'll be going this year, but I'm sure I'll just finish up the day at the beach again. I want my free shit SBN. NO t-shirts, koozies, key chains. DAMN ECONOMY! And I love that pizza eating contest.
