There are so many car shows in Tampa Bay that allow import cars (and focus on import cars). There is no need to come in here and challenge the qualifications of this charity event. The MOPAR and Mustang guys have PLENTY of cars in the local areas for a great car show.

I don't see any issues with this event having spaces open only to domestics.

If you own an import and want to attend the event and contribute then my suggestion is to do so by donating when you get there.

When it comes down to it, this event really isn't about the cars. The cars are there to attract people to donate to the TPD for the families of the fallen officers.

So please, let's keep this on topic.

Side Note: I have been to plenty of "domestic" events and by simply having my Honda in the parking lot, outisde the show area, I have nearly every import that arrives parked around mine anyway.

Thank you,

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

I'm not turning this into a import vs. domestic battle, it's just a show that I decided to do to raise money for charity. I happen to be a Mustang guy (the club that I am the president of has 108 registered members that all drive mustangs in the central florida area), so I did a domestic show. Again, the information is in the flyer. If you want to come to the show, you have the information. It should be a good time. I've secured a DJ, chik fila will be there selling food (with all of their proceeds also going to the charity), and I'm working on a couple other things as well.

Hope to see (some) of you there!

Agreed that you are not.

Best wishes with the event.

Chi Town,
I go to a lot of events.......buy something from the vendors......
kick in something for a charity........I see no issue that it's a domestics
show.

Instead of saying there is no room, a better answer to an import poster
wanting to help, is 4 words: "Show is Domestics only".-Bob
