Default charity poker tournament

Ok here is the deal, I am a member of a motorcycle club, we have a charity and do alot of work with/for them, we are a non profit organization and do our charity for st. josephs hospital in tampa. We do stuff year round but especially around the holidays, I am taking the initiative to organize the thing this year so I am doing a few fund raisers. The 1st 1 I am trying to organize is a poker tournament. I am looking at a 50/50 payout. Everyone pays 10 bux to enter and the winner of the tourny takes 50%. The rest goes to help the charity. It is completely lagit and I am trying to bring in a bigger crowd than just other clubs. The date is not set yet I am just trying to guage interest before I spend money out of my pocket to set it up. If you are interested post up, also throw out any ideas and/or questions you may have. If you do not want to play but would like to swing by and make a donation or just come out and support the cause that is cool too. I am also thinking of making it a cookout or something along those lines to take place at the tourny. Come grab some food, play some cards, and help support a good cause.

Lemme know if you need some custom poker tables made with your sponsor logos on them! One of our clients builds custom poker tables for events exactly like this, and we sell him the foam & materials for them You can sell the advertising space on the poker table playing area, and that will also help you work towards covering your costs on the event setup & possibly even raise additional funds for your charity.

If you're interested, you can contact Kevin @ Str8 Custom, tell him we sent you. Sales@Str8Custom.com

Good luck with the event!

Yeah man, set up a Facebook, MySpace & a Twitter for your Charity. Post updates to them, and it will help you keep the onlookers informed and help maybe wrangle in some new eyes that could donate - time or money!

GLWit bruh.

I highly recommend Facebook for events like this. Any idea where the charity poker tournament will be held?

The way I see it the more people who enter the more money the winner gets and the more money the charity gets. So with that being said, I do not care who comes age wise, you could be 10 years old if you got the money to enter you have a chance at winning. If you do not want to play with a bunch of little kids please do not let the fact that I said that stop you from joining us, the kids probably will not last long and it would be more money for you if they play.
