Thank you to everyone who came out and helped support the third Auto Cafe' Event on August 8th. The event brought out over 65 cars!

This month we will be back at the parking lot of the Muvico Theater in New Tampa which has a Starbucks within walking distance. This location is just across Highwoods Preserve Pkwy and this is where we had our July event.

Based on our 0900-1100 timeframe we should not have any issues with parking in this location.

We have had a ton of people on another thread ask to go to The Green Iguana in Brandon so this month that is where we will go for lunch. It has a really large parking lot out back so we can get some more pics as well.

This will be our last month meeting in New Tampa. Starting with the October Event we will move permanently to Vortex Motorsport. It allows for shade in the shop and food locally as well as restrooms.

Please come out to our Sept. 12th event and help continue to increase our numbers

 

It's my observation that when a regularly scheduled event is held in alternating locations, the participation dwindles.....especially when people show up in the wrong location on the wrong day........and think that the meet has been cancelled......

You made a good move in picking a consistant location.
The shade and restrooms are additional bonuses.

A question.....what are some sites/forums where you are talking up
this meet in addition to TR?-Bob

 

Thanks Bob, I too think this is a smart move.
I am open to the event being advertised on any board but currently I list is on Florida German, 6Speedonline, Audizine, and a few BMW boards. I was told it is also on a few WRX stlye boards. I say the more the merrier!

 

Are there any japanese boards or European boards that are not German cars?

It's my observation that Japanese cars outnumber everything else on the road..................this may be open to controversy..... -Bob

 

I agree with you Bob. I have no idea have many boards are out there but I advertise on the ones that I have been a member on. I know that other attendees are posted the event on other boards as well.

The more forums the event gets listed on the better!
