x2. it would be cool to have it at the track

These meets are put together for everyone to enjoy, by some great people. It REALLY makes me mad knowing that the actions of a few immature people who don't know the time & place for certain things may/has ruined this for the rest of us. It's those same people who give the rest of us a bad name in general, in regards to being import owners. Sorry....just my 2 cents.

Anyway...the track suggestion is good for those of us who are into that sort of thing. But many people aren't going that route with their car. One plus to the track option is we only have 1 "import" event a year at BMP these days (Street Warriorz) which sucks more every year, so having a well put together track event WOULD be nice. I've always enjoyed Phillipe Park, the setting is very nice...and SO much nicer than any parking lot the average meets have to offer.
Very well said, i have to agree with you

I wasn't saying the younger crowd is all bad. I said a few. I've been attending both import & domestic events for years as I own both, and it's a known fact that imports attract younger people, and domestics older. So, because of that, you may run into people not behaving at an import event.

One other thing I thought of in regards to holding a meet at the track, they have staff who try to keep people in line. That may help as well.

For those people that do not want to race can just go park together like the "show car area" that you see in let's say, Nopi events.

I really do think that making a meet at a track would be your best bet and may attract even MORE people. You can even set it up that people race each other "street racing" or "Pinks" style where they line up and go off of the person's hands lol (having trouble describing it) and don't show time.

Just try to keep in mind all the benefits to this like almost Unlimited parking and if you throw an event yourself i'm sure you will make money.

+1 on anderson park in tarpon springs. Very nice park thats very similar to phillippe. The track meet would make the most sense though. They already have a kiosk set up to take payment for entry.

For the people that went to Import Face Off, how they had the car show set up and then some import classes going down the track doing something like that would be great. Police were also watching to make sure no on acts up.

Payouts were REALLY small and look at ALL the people that showed up to race.

If you do enough advertising and like you said you guys have a ton of people coming up for the car shows imagine how much you could make throwing a race / car show event. Even if you aren't in it for the money making Import Events GIVE ALOT to the community.
