Even if there were short comings, again I did not see it, he had people marking spaces and directing traffic and helping with signups and everything else. The thread and location has been posted and bumped countless times the event location was in plain view and right there if anyone bothered to do an ounce of google mapping.............

Nothing goes perfect unless you are very lucky as a planner. Instead of thanking him for even putting on a show during this type of economy and finding a venue willing to take a huge risk and put their profitability on the line (oh, and doing something awesome for the kids during Christmas!!!!), you guys want to rag on him for something YOU thought was out of place for YOUR total enjoyment of your day???
Get over yourselves!!! It was a $5.00 show after donation of even the simplest of toys. You want a leg to stand on?? Go put on a show and put yourself on the line and have some things go not as perfectly planned. Deal with the fallout yourselves and see what it is like to try to do something for the cars and culture you love and friends (as well trying to be a part of something bigger than you in a time of real need) and then come back here and complain.
What a bunch of thankless turds. Its ridiculous complaints like this that make people not want to try to do anything around here anymore.
Truly amazing. I dont know these guys and I am not friends of the planners but I tend to speak my mind when bullshit flies by me and these comments are definitely bullshit.
This show has my support and not because I won a trophy. I believe in what they were doing and what they were trying to accomplish. Even if TFT was not involved, I still like the idea of people getting out there and making something happen.
So it was not perfect, so what? Next time, it will probably be better and that would have been a fact whether you guys opened your mouths or not. All you did is make yourselves look petty, snide and pretty much like self-centered assholes. I mean I am not one to label people but switch your roles with the planner's and tell us how you would feel reading this thread the way it is today.

lol. this isnt julio 2nd show he has done. he has been doing shows more then 4 years now.
If you think you can throw a better show mr subaru guy lets see you throw one. Lets see you find a place, get vendors, get sponsors, get merchandise to raffle off, get trophy's, get all the marketing done for a show, just to name a few things.

believe what you want dude cars came showed and left vehicles like the chevelles and a few donks as well as a few truck that came registered for the cause hung around for a bit and left you simply asked how many total registered you didnt ask how many cars were there when i judged. im tired of arguin with a kid with a basic wrx that thinks the world revolve around himself, again the event was made to raise toys for the kids that was the main purpose and i can care less now what you thought. you and 2 others are the only complaints i have heard, i have gotten so many phone calls thanking me for doing this and tellin me the show was aight but i sit here tryin to apologize to you for not throwing a PERFECT car show, Im not Hot Import Nights or some big company throwing a show I am one guy that likes to keep kids and people off the street and doin something organized and together than out there causing trouble. I been doin the toys for tots car shows for years now and i run into one snag and suddenly you think im a joke. I cannot please everyone.

yea who cares. at least people showed and supported u even if they didnt like the show. yea my friend had the same problem starting the friday meet in spring hill. people think just cuz youre not a big company youre just a joke well how do u think the big companies came together doing exactly what u guys are doing. and yea so what if there was a mix of cars its something different. not to offeden any import people but im sick of seeing nothing but damn imports at meets. dont anyone take that wrong yea there is some nice ones out there but thats what most of the shows are now are imports. im glad to see some different styles of truck and even some donks. i think the show would have been better if winghouse would have coroparated a bit more. good show even though people hated it and im glad to hear u gots some toys out of it

if it wasnt for a good cause i would be a bigger dick right now but that shit was lame they didnt even judge my car,they suck at judging, and they gave the trophy to a pink ricer honda. tampa is holding it down for car shows

^^^^thats a risk you take going to any car show. you dont know the criteria for judging. They gave a couple of trophies to that car, what trophy were you wanting to get? That car had quite a bit done to it....maybe it was not your style or what you may have chosen to do to your car but was that car on the same level as yours? Take your personal tastes away for a second and look at amount of work or rarity or uniqueness of whats is being presented.
