I was heading out there and got pulled over...again for the 3rd time in a month. No ticket. He didnt even tell me why he pulled me over. He just wanted to search my car. I am getting so tired of being harassed by cops for driving a lowered honda.

hey man, i know you're not like that, you're a really cool guy, along with many of my other pr friends.
that's what i meant when i said it's bad because these guys make people think that all pr's are like that. but yeah, these guys are drinking beer all night and driving their cars down the track and they're all just out there acting like they have a 10 to 12 year old mentality! a few weeks ago when i went out there, they almost crashed my car like 4 or 5 times! they're just so dangerous it isnt funny!

yeah, it was way too cold for very many people to go out there. i noticed that it was 38 here at home just before 10, so i know it was cold out there! lol
once the temp gets in the upper 40's, the traction is gone no matter how much vht is on the track. i was surprized that they even opened the track knowing that it was gonna be that cold! lol

Must be talking about lakeland drag strip? lol

Why doesn't everyone just have the meet at say Lake Parker park in Lakeland? There was an AWD meet I went to there once that turned out nice, pavillions and places to BBQ.. Perfect spot for a good time IMO

^ because its a city park and is only open certain hours... yes that makes a good place to hold a meet on occasion but not a weekly thing. especially for a night time meet which they mostly are.

we have held a few meet/greet BBQ's at lake parker with a decent success. maybe its about time to have another...
