Actually its a sweet ride the saleen but you figure for 43k it would be a little quicker since it is fords sports car. Im sure most people would agree.

 

well, it really isnt a sports car, like a vett, its got a back seat...ok well mine had a back seat. I got my car weighed in NC before i moved down here. with no spare and 1/4 tank it was 3400lbs on the scales on the marine base i was at. I have the traps for a car in the 12s but my 60 foots suck. IF i ditched the 20s and got some 18s i could run 12s but i LOVE my rims and i dont see me ever getting 18s....maybe 19s....but i doubt it. I'll admit i paid for the saleen name but oh well. Hondas car be fast but they are everywhere, when have you seen a mustang like mine? And its cool if you dont like my car, but i love it. Also, i like turning much more then 1/4 mile, and you dont need to run 11s to have lots of fun on a road course....or NC back roads, god i miss that...

 

Exactly what I was going to say...people pay money for a car for more than just the straight line capabilities. ^ obviously likes the name, warranty, status, and re-sale of his car. If everyone only cared about going fast for cheap they'd either buy a civic or fox body

Not even so much as that. Just like the personality of the car and the way it's styled and the essence of it. That's why we like the cars we drive (those of us fortunate enough to get the cars we truly want.)

People question me all the time why I got my car. "looks almost exactly like another mazda6" yeah, it has the same basic design, a few things changed, but the whole personality of the car is much different of that than the i4 and v6 versions. On top of the fact I've always loved the basic Mazda6 design from the get-go. To me, my car is almost an extension of myself. I take care of it, I spend a lot of time with it, and I make sure it's clean and presentable . Gotta love the things you own. They love you back in the way of that nice G-force pulling you back into your seat when the throttle is mashed a little harder all while taking a nice 75 degree turn
