Carstar's Super'stang At Nmra Fl Event
Carstar's Super'stang At Nmra Fl Event
Be sure to stop by the car show area at the NMRA Ford Nationals in Bradenton, FL next week to see the Super'Stang. For the SuperStang Muscle Tour, CARSTAR chose to re-create an icon, the 1967 Shelby Super Snake Mustang and dub it the CARSTAR SuperStang. The particular Mustang model and year was chosen due to its powerful engine and legendary status.
The vehicle is a meticulous recreation of the legendary “Super Snake” with details that include an accurate reproduction of the drive train, over-sprays and paint drips that existed on the original automobile. The newly restored SuperStang will also draw from the original designs in areas such as Carroll Shelby-modified Mustang chassis, suspensions and bodies with big-block motors delivering more than 400 horsepower.
CARSTAR re-created the vehicle with the help of Jeff Yergovich, owner of R&A Motorsports, the country’s leading restorer of Shelby Mustangs from the 1960s and 70s.
CARSTAR’s relationship with the Make-A-Wish Foundation is a true reflection of who we are – a company who cares about the community and the world we live in. Our hope is that the funds we raise on The CARSTAR SuperStang Muscle Tour will make wishes come true for deserving children and their families through the Make-A-Wish Foundation
The SuperStang is expected to make approximately 40 appearances at fundraising events to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation and high-profile car collector events in conjunction with local CARSTAR collision repair shop golf tournaments, car shows and cruise events. The tour will end with the sale of the CARSTAR ‘Stang at a high profile auction in Scottsdale, Ariz., in January 2009, with net proceeds going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Be sure to stop by and support this great cause.
