my hatch was tuned 2 months ago, i was told the car was making 425hp.
i went to get more boost,mase did a first pass car was making 296hp and it was pig rich ,the last tuner had me set 550inj ,well i was told the last tuner just put someone else map on my shit .wtf
after mase touched the car @ 15 psi i gained over 170hp on pump.
and it didnt take 2 weeks and i can spin 5th gear i can prove it

what side do you need?? the bell housing side or the top part where the gears are at??? cause i have a newer cable tranny the has the big shaft that can support hydro gears.. an the gear side can be used on a std hyjro tranny?? so LMK..

Hello Paul and everbody in this thread;
The Tuner Paul is talking about is me Omar. Paul's car was brought to me by a very good friend and even like a brother to me Jose Molina from Ocala Florida. He asked me if I could tune his friends Honda EG , Pauls car, and I told Jose that because of the races that coming weekend my schedule was completely full... Like I said before, because I consider Jose like a brother to me I told him that if the owner of the car wanted to race the car that coming weekend I will try to do my best! Jose brought me 2 cars that day one being an allmotor car and Pauls car. The first car on the dyno was the allmotor being successfully tuned and then was time for Pauls EG. I put one of my basemaps on the car, got it started, set the ignition timing, and put it on the dyno. Started fixing the cruising and couple of pulls without vtec.... afrs were a little over the place and hard to control but nothing major.... When I enable the vtec the car started acting up very weird; afrs all over the place, graph had a big deep after vtec, and after that point the car was going lean. Because the dyno charges by the hour Im trying to diagnose it as soon as I can ( You got to have in mind that this is a car that I did not put together and that I just saw it for the first time. Another thing that we got to have in mind is that I charge a flat rate so the more time I spend on the dyno the less money I make. I gave Jose a special rate also so I had to watch out for my money because I could lose it all just by trying to diagnose the car on the dyno). Well because one of the biggest symptoms was a lean condition I started looking at the fuel system first for example; broken vacuum hoses, wrong connection of hoses, leaking injectors, fuel pressure ect... When I asked Paul what cams he had he told me he had Tuner 2. In the pass Ive seen other tuners and myself had problems with these cams... Those other tuners and myself contact Skunk 2 about the problem ( having an unexplainable deep on the dyno graph after vtec) and when they did their research they found they deliver a bad batch of cams!!! Thats why I had to make the decision of stopping the dyno section for further diagnosing... This is when I told Jose Molina, that was not there at the moment, & Paul "If you guys really want to race this coming weekend you would have to leave the car with me and IF I HAVE TIME AND CAN GET IT FIXED I would have it ready for you to race". Paul the owner agreed and left the car with me.
Later that day after a lot of work I decided to take a quick look again at the car.. I removed the spark plugs and did a compression test (everything was fine). I was tierd so I called the day and went back home to have some rest (10shared_pm or more). Next day I was back at the shop at 6am because if I wanted to get Pauls car ready it was the only time available that I had.(6am-10am) I removed the injectors check if they had any dirt or anything on them, found some broken o-rings and replace them, removed the fuel pump and inspected, check the resistor box an its wiring, checked mechanical timing... well it was time to work on the cars schedule in for that week, cars that were going also to the races that weekend.I never got to finish Pauls car for that weekend and I was very disappointed with my self... The following week after the race Paul was desperate to get his car back (something that I understand) but I was doing a favor of doing a car that was not in schedule, so I had to worked on it on my spare time something that I rarely have... I don't remember some of the details but Paul was so disappointed that when I asked him for a little more money for the worked Ive done he accused me of calling his lawyer and tell him that he never authorized me to work on his car that way he would not pay me! (something than in paper he was right because I never did any paper work for his car) but I was doing this from my heart like I do every car that I do because I love what I do and it would made me happy if I had the car done for Paul to have fun that past weekend. I worked on the car again and I found that when the car voltage was dropping to 11.0v... I told Paul what I found and he agreed to bring an alternator or send Jose with it and install it and that's what we did... Jose came over installed the alternator. After he installed I found that the voltage was still dropping but it was at the same time as vtec was activating, so I decided to take a look at the wiring harness and thats when I found a whole mess! Alternator wire hooked like a T to the vtec wired bounch of cables just slammed in into the ecu plug with no pins ect ect ect.... BUT BECAUSE I WAS NOT AUTHORIZED TO WORK ON HIS CAR... I called him explain Paul the problem. I only fixed the alternator wire and later that night went for a quick street tune so he can atleast have it save to drive ( NOT DONE YET AND NOT TUNE ON THE DYNO I NEVER SAID HOW MUCH POWER OR ANYTHING IT WAS JOSE THAT TOLD YOU HOW MUCH POWER AND I TOLD HIM TOO CALL YOU BACK AND TELL YOU THAT I NEVER PUT IT ON THE DYNO BECAUSE I WAS THE ONE GETTING IN TROUBLE FOR THAT LIE) the voltage problem was fixed but afrs were going all over the place but in a save range (10.8-11.3) thats when I also found that TPS percentage even though I was at full throttle the car show percentages of (75% go to 90 then to 60 then to 80 ect ect) and thats why afrs were like that.. I told Paul about this problem also and he was cool with it and he told me he would have somebody to get the wiring fix( something that he told me he did time after all this was over) I TOLD HIM "WHEN YOU GET THIS WIRING FIX EVERYTHING IS GOING TO CHANGE" WHICH YOU CAN SEE NOW " mase did a first pass and the car did 295whp aand it was pig rich"... I drove the car on the street and even with all the little details the car had the car was fast and I told Jose this is an 11.4-11.8 1/4 mile car at the moment. Me as a good driver and a GOOD tuner have enough experience to tell you that I was right on that and thats not a 295whp car!!!! Anyway after you got the car you called me (after i was hard to find and you are very right to say that and maybe all the reason in the world to go to another tuner because of this problem) but you called me that you got some money and wanted to get the car finished.... Time after you called me very happy that you took the car to the track and without launch control you went 11.6 and you were happy and you wanted to send me the car to keep working on it! You even told me that you got over $400,000.00 and you wanted to build a car with me with no budget limit!!!! DOES THAT SOUND LIKE A MAD CUSTOMER OR UNHAPPY WITH OMAR????....
Paul Im not writting this to because Im mad with you or anybody... Im not a forum guy and this is probably the first time I do this... But the reason I do this is because cars and tuning cars is not only what I love with passion is what I do for a living is what I used to bring some food to my stomach and help my family and friends! Im sorry I chose you for this but people on forums always talk bad about the tuners ( and I know you did not mention my name and I respect that from you) but there is so many variables that can go wrong and change everthingggggggg!!!! Ive been very busy traveling and tuning in other countries that it been affecting my business here like customers like you and I understand that! Im trying my best to change that but I got to get my money no matter where on this plannet because I have familly to help and food to eat! There is a lot of people trying to damage my reputation so don't always believe what people say or "what you see with your eyes"... think about it Paul.... and forgive me for doing this but please understand and learn from this and everybody in this form.... thanks for reading my long story and again I apologize to you Paul and everybody on this forum.
