but let's go to lala land for a sec imagine a v8 k series.

a k series head would outperform alot heads,you can grab a type s head and bearily boost and be at 500+ mark

i like 4 bangers cuz it makes it a challenge. it just makes it interesting when the rice burner runs a second less than the v8.

but hey. i wouldnt mind having a 69 chevelle.

hey, what v8 are a comparing this to? yes the early 80's v8's made less hp only because epa was fucking with a lot of car company's. its a different story with the ls1 with was under rated.

hey, what v8 are a comparing this to? yes the early 80's v8's made less hp only because epa was fucking with a lot of car company's. its a different story with the ls1 with was under rated.
they are 2 different animals.

There is no challenge.. Bolt on an ebay turbo kit to a stock honda and even without a tune you have a mid to high 12 second car. If you gut it expect a low 12s on slicks. Even faster if you have an ls/vtec, gsr or b16.

perhaps your not familiar with what the word "compare" means, because you just said your not comparing the 2 engines, then you compared the 2 engines.

and again, its a mute point. a literbike motor makes nearly 200 hp per liter... so if yamaha's r1 motor was the size of a k24 it would make 480 hp... so what does that mean?.... nothing

my all motor civic did that & it was a stock motor just bolt ons that i consider pretty much stock everyone has a intake & exhaust.

my 1000cc Dyno @ 160hp

HP doesn't coincide with displacement anyway

2.4 L Honda RA808E V8 F1 motor makes 700 HP @ 18,000 rpm
