called a couple but they want 1000.00 for one with 100K on it. and ya i need it for what may be my next lil daily got to get it running and working first.

theyre exspensive as hell. when i worked at a shop the cheapest we could find one was 950

which one of you evo fucks on here have an open port cable to re flash ecu's for a 1998 dsm ecu???? got cash if yall could help

First off that's a great way to find someone to help you, insult them first.

Second, is this a turbo DSM? Only a few of the 1995 ecu's were factory Eprom units capable of being re-chipped. You need to check out ECMTuning, Inc. to see if you have an ECU out of a 1995 or if it is the stock one. If it's stock you can't do anything with it.



P.S. I am NOT an evo fuck, but I have dealt a little with turbo DSMs and this is basic knowledge.

I'd call them with the ecu in hand and ask.

I wouldn't bother personally. It's not a tuneable flash. You can't do anything to it yourself. It's literally just a reflash mail tune like for nissan's and what not. You tell them what you have, and they throw something on there that they think will work.
