True. It's a very non invasive safety though. You really don't even realize it's there. Glocks are excellent and have a great track record. They just look cheap in my opinion. XD's look alot nicer, just as durable, reliable, and accurate. The new XDM's are sweet. The 9mm has a 20 round capacity.
