Unless you do alot of stuff to it like turbo, pistons/rods etc. As a budget setup I feel LS motors are alot better.

F sohc aint a waste hell there whopping ass on most Ks BISI is allways breaking records with the sohc started with the Ds now to the Fs

but yes for your everyday guy it would be harder to make fast. but id love to see one fast it would be sweet. i always wanted to do one if i just had extra money besides my other 2 cars

 

Yeah but, Bisi isn't on a stock or "budget" setup .Motors to me are really just good for hustlin/catching people by surprise. Basically well prepped sohcs are the sleepers of the bunch.

 

blah blah bizi doesnt impress me. he holds so many records because he has always run less than ideal setups.... he holds the record for d series... which suck, he holds the record for carbed... which sucks (and dont flame ive run webers before plenty) and as far as his current F car... its not lacking in displacement anymore, has the straightest runner design of any honda head, and he is in hte LIGHTEST and the MOST AERODYNAMIC chassis in his class..... plain and simple he doesnt have to make the same power as everyone else to be faster.

i'm not knocking the guy, but its not like he's some god... give billy here a 200k dollar budget to build a single cam and he's be pretty fucking fast too.
