first off, vtec isnt just about fuel economy. its about providing the motor with a cam profile suited for high range and low range... providing more power down low without sacrificing top end. stick a set of 272's in a ls motor and its going to be gutless down low.

For lembo or anyone that has seen these vids when they run do they have the street setup with VHT? Cause they come out of the hole HARD and on slicks.

I am pretty sure they are here only for this weekend's War of The Imports cause I think they live in NY. Anyway you can find vids of them on youtube. I think this is there civic YouTube - Midnight Auto White Eg Vs Tubaso Red Coupe not sure if it is exactly it but if you watch towards the end these cars are coming out of the hole pretty hard.

not the same car, the car in that video is all motor as were the car thats calling people out is boosted and pushing 850+whp..i dont think that it would hook like that on the streets
