well shit i didnt look it up yet i highly doubt for 3 years thats the best record. i never said in sport compact class either in general fastest 4 cylinder drag car or rail is chevy ecotec lol.

annndddd im right!! in 07 season ecotec car ran 6.4 and heres a list of records they set and hold as of right now... haaaaaaaaaa and aaron shut the fuck up about GM backing them like honda doesnt back shit...
Records:
* We were the first Hod Rod into the sevens.
* Gary Gardella's run of 7.565 seconds @ 185.85 mph is the quickest for any production uni-body fwd (this was his previous car).
Records:
- 7.15 seconds, 202.79 mph – Gary Gardella, NHRA S/C Pro FWD (quickest and fastest fwd 4-cylinder)
- 7.401 seconds, 202.03 mph – Gary Gardella, NDRA Pro Outlaw FWD
- 6.417 seconds, 211.76 mph – Don Nase, Jr., NDRA Pro Extreme (quickest and fastest four cylinder)
- 9.403 seconds - Brian Ballard - NDRA Turbo Street (we do not have the mph record. Others have gone quicker, but have not set a nationally sanctioned record.)
