itll never be like it was. we had the best bartenders every thursday (still see christina occaisionally) and it wasnt so e-thug wiggerish out there. then they did some stupid king of the parking lot bullshit, hired some DJ that played crappy music and never had anything anyone wanted to hear. i go because i've got friends on the wait staff, so i pretty much only go to see them and catch up with a couple other friends.

 

i never knew any of this, seeing as how i moved down here only about a year ago, but i was talking to one of the guys that work there and he said that they had a lot of car shows there, with DJ's, and prizes and stuff. he said it happened regularly too, but they had to stop because it was bothering everyone at the hotel thats right on US19. that sounded pretty cool, but now i guess they dont do that anymore. i go just to meet up with friends, and to see some of the cars people have.

 

if that was the honest cause (disturbing the hotel)...there would DEFINATELY be no bike night...100 times more people, 1000 times louder and 10000 times more fun.

 

thats a good point. why would they cancel all the dj's and car shows or whatever then

 

I don't know I didn't know about QS&L meets until about a month ago. But it sure sounds like it was awesome. Maybe, just maybe, some day everything could return the way it used to be... That would be really cool, and I hope everyone here agrees with me on that one...

 

it wont, because alot of it was the bartenders outside, sped(chris) and christina...they were cool...now its like an older crowd out there and its just not as fun as it was. they would sit and bullshit with ya but still get with everyone else too...it was more personalized attention IMO.

 

maybe TR can get some type of deal with QSL about getting big time meets and shows happening again. give it another shot you know? couple weeks ago at bob evans, that was a good turnout. nothing bad happened at all, except for the guys burning out at the end, but that wasnt so bad. and that bob evans is right next to a bunch of condos. if we could do something like that, i think a lot more people would be at qsl, and more people would eat there too.

 

me and my friends still go out there it died bc of the whole drama thing and they did start with shitty service but it hasnt been like that in a while...now that we all know the security guys there pretty cool with us normal people...they still recognize after 8pm its the tamparacing/import carmeet there on thursday nights....theyve quit all the dj bs so people should come out theres usually a crew of subarus that come out and dsm then the usual 240s and stuff it would be good to see this meet come back to life so if ya got nothing to do on a thursday night come out ! ill be there
