-Gandy and CCC is fun to watch people be stupid and get into trouble, but it's no place to actually race!

-The right way to get off a "real" street race, is when everyone meets in a parking lot (NOT on the side of the road/bridge where people are already racing on and there are a million spectators). At this lot you can walk around and find a car you want to race, check out the car then agree on a fair race: EX: "Evo gives Mustang 2 cars and the hit for 100$." Then these 2 cars can drive off to a secluded road (with some friends and possibly a 3rd party to hold money) and take their time to get the race off right. Then come back to the lot. Done. No real worries about cops ect. This is how it is done in Chicago (where I am from) and a lot of other cities who are serious about streetracing and get down for money.

This video is an example of the way street racing should be: my friend's ported blower 03 cobra vs nitrous 03 cobra; 1/4 mile heads up off a flashlight (flag) for $400. We met up in a parking lot and drove 15 mins to this road, ran once then left. done.

I think it would be cool to have a meet at a parking lot on Friday nights somewhere in Tampa for the people who really want to streetrace. No one will be doing burnouts or being retarded, and if you find a race you can go drive to any road you want and run then come back, making it safe. So who would be up for meeting up on Friday nights somewhere in a parking lot and getting off some 'real' street races?!?!?

How about Friday Night's @ Sonics on Gandy @ 9pm to start things off?

So if your sick of all the Bull Shit, and wanna get down the right way, or just to chill and check out rides, then come! This will be the spot to set up good races.


ps. -this is not a call out from me to everyone, nor am I running my mouth to say im a huge streetracer, my car is slow (right now) I need to get some shit fixed and modded a bit before i will sack up and get down.

 

steve u do have a point but their is really no place to do it were everyone else doesnt already know about or gonna be their and be stupid... for one if some people were to find out (RICERS) not just hondas or other cars cuz their are fast ones and clean ass ones but just some people like to act stupid and ruin it for everybody else such as gettin the cops called.. but their is some stops but their far and i mean far from gandy and other spots but if people wanna do some real races we need to find a spot that not many cops are at and get it down.. such as dig races like with DHT spraid on the road and preped but as u all know people will ruin it sooner or later

 

so meet on fridays at the sonic on gandy 9pm right....ill be there with some buddys if people are goin

Street racing is against the law and TR don't condone it, I suggest you edit that first post and make it a meet, not a 'racing' spot.
