well bring the ideas to our meet and when we start doing a car show we can have a class for that....

 

You make Zero sense. What is a car show going to be about if it is not about how a car looks. Do seriously expect a car that looks like hell but has a tight ass engine build to win a car show??

I can not vouch for the other winners that night, but Jeffs car (S2000) has it all.

I am sorry you have a problem with car shows but that is what they are SHOWS. You want notoarity for having a fast or performance oriented car, take it to the track and win whatever they give away. Most serious show cars whether at QSL or HIN or wherever are modded in the performance category as well as the extior, interior ICE etc etc.

Dont hate because someone has more money to spend on thier car than you. Showing your car is not an activity designed for everyone to be able to do. You either strive for what it takes to compete or you do something else.

Just like I dont expect a 80K dollar show car to rip it down a track or autoX event, I dont expect JohnnyX in his primered up, stripped interior, 1 seat integra pushing 500whp to take a trophy at a show.

Don't like shows?, do go to them.

Besides that, no matter how much I respect motors and the people that spend the time, energy and money on them to do them right, I have never seen a motor, no matter how nice it was, put a hot chick in the passenger seat - sorry

This what I have in my mine for our monthly show, Best Bikes, Best Import,Best Performance,Best Club Crew,Best Domestic, Best of Show. That what I think, but I'm sure thier other class we can add. But I would like everyone else opinions on what class would be good.

Another note 57trim, you said 13 or 14 year old kid told you off. Imagine a kid telling the guard what you said. You know kids always make things sound bigger than they really are. I can see how it all started when the guard came to you and told you off. Already those guard are in hot water, and no way you'll get them to believe you. You said 2 years you been going and no problems, well now that this event started it hasnt been the same. Well this Sat. is going to be just like it use to be when you didnt have car show meet.

all i know of all this is that i will not be attending qsl anytime soon,and i like big bodys.and whips,but im more about how a place treats the people there than whips.

 

I'm deffinitly not going back and your car "meet" on saturday's is gonna turn into the same damn thing so stop talking about it like its not..thursdays started out like you all want to start out then turned into this gay ass shit.. we just need to find a different place to go that will respect us more than that shithole

 

i dont know what world ur living in....80% of the cars at QSL are shit boxes,fillled with wigger ass "thugs."the QSL meet didnt start out this way nor did we want it to be a "car show."Thursday nights at QSL hve been going on now for the past 2-2 1/2 years and in the past 4 months it has turned into a "lets see who has the best "donk" or the best riced out firebird....i mean WTF is that!?!?! you so called "show car people" have ruined this meet.This meet was designed to be a spot where people who have a love for cars and motorcycles can come out and chill.not a place to be loud and act like ur the best out there.Take your cars back to "2 Fast 2 Furious" please.

hey primo, for one, i never said i think a car with more go then looks should win in a car show designed for looks, i said there should b a car show especially FOR that, or at least a class. It would attract a different crowd of people imo, not the white thugish folks that wanna see all the pimped out paints, and drool about how high a hydraulic kit can lift ones car of the ground.

Its all a matter of oppinion, i spoke mine, no need for you to bash on it.
