Street Nights @ BMP UPDATE!!!!!
Ok people! Here's the latest update from Todd regarding
Street Nights @ BMP......
1. Track Prep: Many had questions about the prep. Todd assured me this morning that the prep will not be an issue. The prep is going to be the same as a standard test and tune. He realizes that some faster cars will be joining us tonight and he and Alan are making sure the track is in good shape.
2. Scoreboard Time Display: For this event, the scoreboard time display will be in place. If racers DO NOT want times displayed, do as you would for any other event. Write N/T on the window.
3. Slips: Time slips will be available for this event for all racers.
4. Tree: There will be a tree as opposed to the usual "traffic light" for this event.
5. Top Dawg: The "Top Dawg" contest will happen tonight. Gift certificates in the amount of $150 will be provided to the racers w/ the best ET in the following categories: Domestic, Import, Bike
6. Burnout Contest: I have not received confirmation on the burnout contest at this time. I have a call into Alan and Wade.
There will be the "Mafia Motorsports" canopy set up either along the fence-line of the pits, down in the corner, by the entrance to the track or in the center median just before the staging lanes.
I will be there by 6-6:30 to start setting up. If anyone wants to come down earlier to help out, that would be great. Just PM me and let me know.
Weather report indicates a 30% chance of "the R word" but mainly East of I-75 ending by late afternoon.
We should be in good shape.
