He is simply trying to weed out some of the riff raff that tend to show up at this and many other meets. Once a location is known to everybody, it tends to attract show offs and shit talkers. He is trying to quell down the number of idiots that show up and he is stating that fact with, what I think is, justified emotion. He may have gone a bit off the script but the essence of what he is saying is sound.

Imagine if you will a meet you helped establish and went to religiously and it was busted up because of a bunch of idiot SPL freaks, quad retards and trash talkers showing up and disrupting, what is otherwise, a low key event. Now you have to find a new location and start up another meet. It is a pain in the ass.

If you want to come out simply PM one of the organizers and ask for the location. If they know you or you assure them you are going to be cool once you get there, I am sure they would most likely give you a chance.

Other than that, this is THIER meet. These guys who started it, want to revise it and they have every right to do so. They have every right to invite or not invite whoever they want. Hell I am still waiting for a PM invite myself (HINT HINT LOL). I am not however going to rip into them because they want to sterilize the attandance a little.

Get off your high horse and comprehend what is being said. You have the right to know but the responsibility to understand everything in life and this is a perfect example of you not understanding the situation.

Try asking, if you want to attend, instead of flaming about an issue that is beyond reproach

 

I think people are seeing this wayyyy too much as selective but its not trying to be. They are just trying to keep it off of the forums pages so that people who don't contribute to the site can't just come on here and see where they are going to invade a perfectly chill car meet. When it takes having to PM somebody and read a reply to see where it is at, alot less idiots will bother looking into it, thus we might be able to have an actual decent meet (i guess like it was before). PM the originators before you start flaming the thread, don't complain about not knowing where to go if you didn't even bother asking somebody (and I don't mean on the pages that would defeat the whole purpose). It might actually take a little WORK to set up a decent meet and a little WORK to find out where it is, imagine that.

 

I agree with the invites to keep the people out that will talk shit and start trouble but how do you know who they are?? I have 15 posts and I know I won't but the guy with 4567 posts is the biggest jagoff you'll meet. Also didn't mean to flame about the post on shitty ppl just wanted to be clear what you ment. You are single-handedly making my point for me!! Like it or not, the people who care about the meet itself are taking action to restore to the way THEY like it, not to your standards. This is not a democracy. The have the right to tell who they want, what they want just as you have the right to not attend if you do not like the way they are running things.

I have not gotten a reply either but I am sure not going to complain how bad my pussy hurts because of the choice of words used by one of the original organizers.
