argh! why cant my sonoma run right.... go figure, everyone wants to race when your shit doesnt run

Chad, i'll make it back out there some day....

 

I was on the south side & drove by books-a-mil around 10pm, but only 3 cars were out there. I headed home to the N. side & looked over on the side of the Bealls store & saw bout 15-20 rides chillin out there. I kept driving so I could pick up my boy, but on my way there, it starting raining hard out of no where. By the the time I get to the meet, they had all jetted. So I headed back to the S. side but ket raining. So I busted a u-turn & as I was driving by the RaceTrac(across from Home Depot), I saw all the cars there fueling up. When I askd where they were headed to, they said to Orlando. I was already tired of driving around, it was late, plus it was wet & I had already seen 4 ambulances hauling ass up & down 98(and who knows if any those were for the ricers). I did see a red civic on the side of the road about 1/8mile away from the kathleen post office. I guess him & his buddy were taking that curve to fast & one of them ended up in the ditch(damn!)
Hopefully next Saturday will be a bit better.

 

Is anyone down to go to this weekend's(28,29,30) import races in Bradenton? I may stay over there for 2days & come back Saturday nite or Sunday morning. Should be able to catch a few good races of our own!

You guys wanna try and have like a Bar B Q meet or something for like all of Polk?

 

That would be cool, just have to be like 5pm ( maybe later ) on Saturday or something, I don't know...

Either way I'd be down.

On a side note, 2 of my friends and I took the same trip as rikoRX7 and ending up going to 78th street in Tampa. The roads were still wet, but the cops weren't too bad. Mainly a bunch od morons doing burn-outs on the wet roads, but I can't talk, we went to Tampa pretty much knowing it was gonna be wet.

We didn't know how to get to Pointsenna ( or what ever ). I thought my friend knew, but he had only been on his GSX-R and said they did 120mph the whole way there....

 

Where exactly are these races in Poincianna? Keep hearing about it, but not about to haul out there and drive around aimlessly.

i dont know about a bar b q but i will bee out for some racing next weekend....gonna hand some ricers their asses to them.....all in a safe and freindly manner of course
