I bought my MX-6 off ebay, used pictures from the ad until I got pictures with my own camera. Maybe he bought his RX-7 on there as well?

 

Don't hate fathead, i just picked it up about a month ago. Where you live?, so i can show you in person. All my other pics have been taken on my cell. If you stay in Lakeland too, we can meet up.

 

I try and make it up to books-a-million every now and then. My freind Sal is up there every Sat. with his Hemi ram. If I get my brakes fixed by Saturday, I'll definately be up there as well as my freind with his dark grey 03' GTi.

One of the cobras over there is suppoed to have something like 450+WHP !!!

I doubt I can talk my freind with a buick GN into showing up, he's very protective of his car, and people "acting a fool" tend to keep him away from meets.

I'll run anyone ( win or lose ) and so will my GTi buddy, but your either "un-wise" or not from Lakeland if your thinking about racing on S. florida....

Ya know... Ive been up to Best Buy and Books many times and have only been in 1 serious race with a WRX. Both are just breeding grounds for imports and LPD to come and break things up after everyone ruins it by doing burnouts, fighting, and leaving trash scattered everywhere.

As always, it's alot of talk, no action. Whatever happened to K-Mart?

I'm sure the cobras would be interested in racing the syclone, but you prob. know them anyway.

 

i seen the cyclone race the wrx it was an alright race, but the lakeland spots are shity now nothing but a ton of ricers and a hand full of racers, most of the v-8's are cocky assholes. every once and a while we actually get some good races in.

 

ug, that was a bad race.... you saw the outcome of my truck right?

i should have never agreed to it but was talked into it by others.

8psi (low for me, as its typically at 19psi) due to a severly untuned test chip, i opened the wastegate, and to top it off during the race i come to find out my tranny hangs up between 4500-5000RPM after 1st on a fresh rebuild. I never got down in the powerband after the launch.

Fun race though... i didnt leave hard due to knowing my chip was junk so the WRX got the hit off the line... but we stayed together the whole way up until about 95mph when I started creeping up on him and by the time I was beside him, thats when my water pump pulley hub came unpressed and sent everything into the radiator.

I have a new chip now with solid 19psi, but im still working out the trans issues... still likes to hang up occasionally.

yah yah, excuses excuses.....but ive had enough races in Lakeland and Orlando (where im from) to prove myself....and as always, win some lose some.


Ive talked to that WRX owner since... nice guy and didnt gloat about the race, which was cool...he could have been an ass about it. When I get my trans issue figured out, we'll probably set up another run. Outcome should be alot diffrent

there is a blue 03 cobra that comes out sometimes he put down like 450/495. its run 11.9s before.

im down for this...id rather see a 'meet' at a park or something with some bbq first though so we can get to know each other during daylight instead of standing around in 'cliques' in a parking lot.
