Attn: Hockey Players (4 on 4 Cancer Benefit tourney)
I know we have a lot of people who play on here, so I'm checking to see who would be interested in getting a team together. Its all for fun and for a good cause (see below). All we need is 5 people (a 5th person = goalie). This is roller hockey, btw.

I played for both the Tritons and the old B-Team, the Tornadoes (both based out of Terrace) for years, dating back to like 94/95 up to 2001. Although I haven't talked to Jeff in a long time, I'd like to help out and get a team together to play. It's all for fun, so who cares how bad we do.

We received some bad news this past week, that Jeff Patneaude is undergoing treatment for testicular cancer.
As most of you know, Jeff was one of the first and best players to ever wear a Triton uniform. His family was heavily involved in developing roller hockey and the Triton program from 1995 to 2003.
In this time of uncertainty (how severe the illness will be) we would like to hold a benefit 4 on 4 tournament at Terrace Sports (now - The Roller Den) on October 9th and 10th. The cost/donation will be $25 per player ($125/team). There will also be a public skate session Sat 9th from 8-11pm for your entire family to enjoy.
If you can't play but would like to help, you can send donations (money, raffle, items, etc).
