Default Obd2 or Obd1

Is it better to stay with obd2 since my car is now, I have a 96 accord and i and going to do an h22 swap. Should i get a obd2 motor or get a obd1 and do a conversion. Is there really any advantage to convert to obd1. Any insight on this would be greatly appriciated.

If your planning keeping the car close to stock get a 96-98 H22 and keep it OBD-2. If you do plan on going OBD-1 you will need a new distibutor and well the ECU and harness.
