Default Needle stuck in my finger...help!

What am I doing wrong? The needle is lodged in my finger and I am nearly done with my crocheted seat covers. Now one is red and the other is cream. What do I do to extract the needle from my finger? Do I just keep knitting my finger into the project?

Help!

i say just lop the finger off and make it into a decorative centerpiece for your yarnwork. i saw it on martha stewart once.

+1 but if you MUST have the finger back

use a reverse trebble hook and insert it between the skin and the needle. Pull the hook till the skin rips open and the needle should come right out.
