Default JDM Up's shop car

Mike Puma and his best friend Brad Randall bought a MINT bone stock 98 gsr a few years ago and began to build it. Together they were working on a few projects and Brad really wanted to begin to build an s2k so Mike took over the work on the teg and decided to make it his sole focus. Thats where JDM UPS came in. In all his builds the number one issue Mike ran in to was finding quality shops to get rare high end parts from. We immediately saw room here for a great partner ship and decided to make his car our shop car. The car has gone through a couple make overs some more drastic than others, but its a constantly changing project car that really depicts what the JDM style is all about. Together we have reached a level that both Mike and us at JDMUps.com can be proud of. All of our hardwork will soon be displayed in an upcoming issue of Honda Tuning. So keep your eyes open for it. If you like any of the parts that are on the car be sure to let us know because we can get any of them for your car too, along with much more!

Here is the car in its purest stage, 25k original miles, new 18g greddy kit and new Work Emotions:

Then we decided to add a few mugen goodies like the S1 bucket, Gen 1 wing, twinloop exhaust, and few other things.

Then we decided to go Spoon, so we switched the s1 for the kevlar bucket as it went better with the kevlar pannels.

Then more recently we decided to go big or go home, and decided to do the jdm front conversion, new steering wheel, harness, and the super rare racing hart cp8's. We also added the spoon n1 exhuast to go with the seat, valve cover, spark plug cover and Carbon hood.

A note from the owner:
Guys, my car would not be where its at with out the help of jdmups.com. As you can probably tell I like to change my mind and switch things up alot. I like rare parts, stuff that no one else has, and jdm ups was able to find me everything i needed quickly and at a fair price. I was in desperate need of a shop like this and i was lucky to find these guys. I know there are a million places to source parts but most are hard to deal with, over priced, and take forever. Not jdmups.com. Please dont take my word for it give Greg a call and just see what they can do for you, you wont regret it.

hey guys thanks for the comments, i am the owner of the car..the kit produced 260whp, and 230lbs tq at 12 lbs of boost. Im getting it retuned soon and will update those numbers...and as far as the Honda tuning issue it is still TBD, we were shooting for the may issue but the editor did not like the background at one of the locations so we have to re shoot now so depending on how fast that gets done will determine the issue becuase the mag is usually 3 months out...we will keep you updated.. thanks
